Who We Are

The Organization of the Congolese Diaspora in the United States of America (OCDUSA) is a nonprofit organization based in Dallas, Texas, dedicated to mobilizing the Congolese diaspora in the United States to contribute meaningfully to the development of the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Founded by Praxedes Bongibo, the organization is rooted in the firm belief that members of the diaspora, having gained knowledge and experience abroad, are uniquely positioned to support progress in the DRC. By applying insights gained from living and working in the U.S., the Congolese diaspora can help strengthen communities through education, entrepreneurship, and community-led development projects.

The ODCUSA serves as a platform for connection, collaboration, and action, turning diaspora potential into lasting impact.
